The "Empreinte" series and other lithographs below are drawn on stone with Tusche ink. Sometimes, marks are added with photoplates. Free from any attempt to represent or describe, the prints can suggest water in different forms – tears, rain, drips, clouds – as if part of the lithographic process is seeping into the images. Speed and flight, the pull of gravity, shapes lighter than air, fuzzy edges, feeling that balance is just out of reach: all wrapped up in the drawings.
