Drawn on stone with Tusche ink, the Empreinte series can suggest water in different forms – tears, rain, drips, clouds – as if part of the lithographic process is seeping into the images: speed and flight, the pull of gravity, shapes lighter than air, fuzzy edges or the feeling that balance is just out of reach.
